I’m trying to set up a website that would allow individuals to transfer money – donations in this case – to my user’s account. I want to do this as cheaply as possible. The users don’t want to make a paypal account, they want me to handle the whole thing for them on the website, and the money should end up in their bank account without them doing anything.

There seem to be so many different institutions that can do this, all in different ways. FirstData, PayPal, TSYS, noca.com are a few that I’ve found. Could someone explain this industry to me, how these transfers work, who profits and how? Should I act as a middle man, transfering the money to my account and then to the clients?

I have the Lipman Nurit 8100 and no one not even my tech support has any info on this machine. I have goodled it yahoo.com’ed it and i cant find any info or the manual to go with it. It came with this business but i never got a manual. I am having a problem with it. When receipts print out it shows the whole card account number and the expiration date on the receipt. I cannot figure out how and even in i can change the settings so that wont happen. I have also been searching for The Nurit or The Lipman company so that i may find a contact number and hopefully get a manual to this damn machine. If anyone has any info or can give me any advice i would really appreciate it.

I want to create a credit card merchant company. That runs debit cards also. Visa, Mastercard, Discover etc etc. What kind of servers and software is needed? I need to also know what type of regulations I need to follow. Also how much a year this industry makes a year? From the ground up what do I need? Can someone ever answer this question? I always get dead ends.

My nurit 8000 displays pin pad Inactive and wants me to enter a 6 digit code that I don’t know . How can I reset the credit card machine?I have tried to enter the date but it displays fauliure.

I have one company quoting me a rate of 1.59% to accept corporate cards (an additional 1.50% for international cards) while others charge anywhere from 2.1% to 3.85% and claim that no company can offer that low a rate… where can I find out what rate Visa charges them?

Our customers rarely use credit cards as a form of payment. It’s usually a check via mail. But a few do use a Visa or MasterCard once in a blue moon. We are charged 2.75% from our bank for the the total of the credit card purchase. At the time of the credit card transaction can I add the standard percentage on top of the invoice amount? Am I legally allowed to do so? Also, am I legally allowed to markup the 2.75% we are charged on our merchant statement?
